G’day Everyone,

Rob and I are extremely proud to announce the publication of our newest portfolio book, “Sojourns In Nature – Close to Home and Farther Afield”.  This is the third, and most comprehensive book in the “Sojourns In Nature” series featuring the best of our photographic work.

After hundreds of hours invested in production and layout, we’ve produced a portfolio book which includes over 150 photographic images of nature spanning more than a decade of field work.  You’ll experience the grandeur of New England’s fall foliage, be thrilled by close encounters with moose and owls and bears and bobcats and whales, and find yourself transfixed before magnificent waterfalls, dazzling sunrises, and breathtaking landscapes from frozen wilderness to steamy glacial bogs inhabited by meat-eating plants!  The lion’s share of images in this book come from Gustav and Rob’s home ground: Northeastern U.S., Southern Quebec, and the Maritime provinces.

Rob’s abilities to transfer the quality, i.e., color, vibrance, tones, resolution, and dynamic range of the photographs from the computer to the printed page are remarkable.  All the glow and brilliance and sharpness of the images is superbly preserved!

Those of you who know me know that I would starve if I had to make my living as a salesman.  When I display my prints in the summer exhibits I say very little to the folks coming into the exhibit apart from greeting them.  I let my prints speak for themselves and my sales are…well, I’m not starving.  Likewise, we’ll let the book speak for itself and make it very easy for you to preview it.  You can click on the cover image above to go directly to the bookstore or take a moment to click the embedded preview at the bottom of this blog and browse through sample pages.  You’ll notice that at $45.95 U.S. we’ve priced the book to be affordable and we hope that you’ll consider adding this unique gallery of images to your collection.  And of course, we hope that you’ll stay in touch as always and let us know what you think.

With gratitude and respect,

Gustav & Rob

      G’day Linda,

We can meet for lunch somewhere in between and I’ll be happy to autograph the book when you get it. As for Rob, well, how often do you get to Montreal? :)

Thank you very much, Juanli. Though it’s my photo on the cover, Rob gets the credit for the cover design.
