Hey all,
Rob here, again.
NatureScapes.net, the best nature photography resource web site and forum on the internet, has published an updated version of my Hand-Held Flash Macro Photography article, which was originally published on the Sojourns In Nature blog. This is quite an honor, and I wanted to share the good news with you.

Excellent article. Just wondering what brand/model quick release L plate you are using with the Wimberley Macro Arm? Does it block access to the remote shutter cord access panel? Many thanks.
Hi Simon,
Thank you for the kind feedback. I use the Really Right Stuff L-plate on my 5D MkII. It’s is a beautifully build plate, and although a bit expensive, it is well worth the money.
It does not block access to the shutter release, although when the camera is mounted in the vertical position, it is necessary to carefully place the cable in order for the place to fit properly into the quick release plate.
